One of the main reasons why we have so many problems in this world – social, political, economical, sickness and disease etc. – is because we lack direction in life. We don’t know who we are, why we are here, what we are here for (what’s the purpose of it all), and where we are going.
If you think about it, animals and insects navigate mainly by the sun, the stars, or the Earth’s magnetic field. They are guided by nature. But we, the human family, we have no real guidance because we deny our Divine nature, and that’s why we don’t know where we are going or why. We have become disoriented. And that’s the real reason for addictions of any kind (drugs, sugar, alcohol, gambling etc), for suicide, war, crime, prostitution, pornography, for lack of motivation and, really, that’s the reason for every problem in the world. Disorientation.
We all, as a human family, we lack direction, and that’s why life is so difficult for us. We have no direction, we don’t understand what life is all about, and that’s why our life lacks meaning.
And a life without meaning makes no sense. A life without meaning makes us depressed.
Depression is one of the most widespread afflictions in this day and age. The real cause for depression is lack of direction in life. Lack of meaning.
Life starts to make sense once we begin to understand that we have an evolutionary goal and that our destiny is to become fully Soul conscious, that life on Earth is just like sitting in a class room learning things and taking exams, that death is just the withdrawal of the Soul from the bodies and that the Soul itself is indestructible, so we will all see our loved ones who have already passed on again, and we already do so every night when we go to bed – I mean, what do you think we do when we go to bed at night? The only reason why we don’t know is because we lack continuity of consciousness. That’s why we dream.
We will stop having dreams at night once we develop continuity of consciousness. Because to develop continuity of consciousness means to become consciously multidimensional. We are multidimensional beings right now but we don’t realize it because we have not yet build the so-called Antakarana.
So, when we fall asleep at night, while the so-called life-thread stays in place making sure our heart keeps beating while we are asleep, the so-called consciousness thread is withdrawn and as a result we fall unconscious. When we are asleep, we are unconscious here in our brain awareness, yet meanwhile we are very active and conscious on other planes and dimensions. However, since we lack continuity of consciousness, we are not consciously aware of our multi-dimensionality, and all that we remember when we wake up from sleeping is loose fragments in the form of dreams.
Again, we will stop having dreams once we develop continuity of consciousness. To develop continuity of consciousness means to become consciously multidimensional. We are multidimensional beings right now but we don’t realize it because we have not yet build the so-called Antakarana. But just because we don’t realize something does not mean it is not there. For example, we are starting to become aware of the law of cause and effect. Yet it has always been there. The Spiritual path is just the path of becoming aware.
And now, if we want to become Soul-aware or Soul-conscious in our brain awareness, which happens to be our current evolutionary goal, we have to start directing our attention towards the light of the Soul. If you want to become Soul conscious, this is what you will have to focus on.
Again, animals navigate by the magnetic field of the Earth or by the sun. Everything we see in this world is a symbol of a greater reality. The sun up in the sky is the symbol of our Soul and of the light of our Spirit. So what the sun is for the animals and also plants – they also strive towards the light, isn’t it; I have a pot plant and it goes like this because it is striving towards the light; but anyway, what the sun is for the animals and also for the plants, the Soul is for us. The light of the Soul is our personal guide amidst all the turbulence in our life, it is the light out of the darkness. It gives us direction, meaning, purpose. And it is actually magnetically linked with the extension of itself anchored in the brain, the so-called conscious thinking I – that’s you and I in our brain awareness.
So not just animals navigate by magnetism, we actually do too but we can’t see it because, as a human family, we still deny our higher divine nature and think that the body is all there is to life.
So here is your assignment: Start striving towards the light of the Soul. Every time you see the sun up in the sky, tune into your Soul. Every time you have a problem, ask the Soul to throw its light upon it to reveal the lesson. Every time you don’t know what to do, tune into your Soul. Do what the animals and plants do. Let the light of the Soul be your guide in everything you think, say, feel and do. It is our compass in life, but the Soul cannot guide us if we never turn to it for help and guidance, and deny its existence.
We have to turn our attention towards the light of the Soul. And once we start doing that, we will no longer feel lost. We will see the light at the end of the tunnel. We will regain strength and motivation because we are on our way again and life, finally, makes sense, again. Think about it.
The core of every problem we have is that we have lost our way. The solution to every problem is to find our way again. The Soul is the way. Whatever problem you have in your life right now, the way out is the way of the Soul. And all you have to do to tread the path is to start striving towards the light of the Soul like nature does all around us.
