Collection of Information
We collect two pieces of personal data: (1) your name, and (2) email address, when you voluntarily submit it. These two pieces of information are collected when a visitor requests to be added to our email newsletter. The information you provide is only used to fulfill your specific request of signing up for our email newsletter. In addition, we may need to contact you by email if there is a technical error or a data incident and we need to contact you to protect your data or as otherwise required by law.
If you place an order in our online store https://www.totalenlightenmentstore.com, sensitive personal identifiying information may be collected, such as address and telephone number. Credit card information is not collected nor stored by us, but when you enter credit card information as part of placing an order in our online store, that data is encrypted by our payment processor (see below, Commitment to Data Security).
Data Erasure Requests
All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings. Each email newsletter contains a “one-click” unsubscribe button at the bottom of the newsletter. In addition, if you decide that in addition to unsubscribing you want to have all of your personal data erased, we provide that option at your request. Please simply visit http://www.iamuniversity.org/contact/. In your message, please write: “Please erase all my personal data.” We will follow up promptly with an email requesting confirmation. This is to ensure that the owner of the email address entered in the request form in fact made that request. Once you confirm, we will promptly erase all your data and follow up with an email confirming erasure has been completed or indicating the exception below.
Use of Information for Marketing Purposes
We may partner with third-party service providers, including Google, to serve ads on our behalf across the internet. Remarketing allows us to show ads to visitors who’ve previously visited the Site as they browse the internet. We may tag pages of the Site that correspond to certain categories we wish to promote and then create campaigns to show relevant messages (such as ads displaying a special sales promotion) to visitors who’ve visited these pages. Please note that we do not share any information that identifies you personally with the third party service providers who serve ads on our behalf. If you do not wish to receive personalized advertising from us on other web sites, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out page: http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/
Additional Distribution of Information
We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place.
NOTE: If you are on our newsletter list, we do not sell or give out your email address or name to anyone except as stated within this document.Privacy Contact Information
