One of the main reasons why we have so many problems in this world – social, political, economical, sickness and disease etc. – is because we lack direction in life. We don’t know who we are, why we are here, what we are here for (what’s the purpose of it all), and where we are going.

If you think about it, animals and insects navigate mainly by the sun, the stars, or the Earth’s magnetic field. They are guided by nature. But we, the human family, we have no real guidance because we deny our Divine nature, and that’s why we don’t know where we are going or why. We have become disoriented. And that’s the real reason for addictions of any kind (drugs, sugar, alcohol, gambling etc), for suicide, war, crime, prostitution, pornography, for lack of motivation and, really, that’s the reason for every problem in the world. Disorientation.
We all, as a human family, we lack direction, and that’s why life is so difficult for us. We have no direction, we don’t understand what life is all about, and that’s why our life lacks meaning.

And a life without meaning makes no sense. A life without meaning makes us depressed.

Depression is one of the most widespread afflictions in this day and age. The real cause for depression is lack of direction in life. Lack of meaning.
Life starts to make sense once we begin to understand that we have an evolutionary goal and that our destiny is to become fully Soul conscious, that life on Earth is just like sitting in a class room learning things and taking exams, that death is just the withdrawal of the Soul from the bodies and that the Soul itself is indestructible, so we will all see our loved ones who have already passed on again, and we already do so every night when we go to bed – I mean, what do you think we do when we go to bed at night? The only reason why we don’t know is because we lack continuity of consciousness. That’s why we dream.

We will stop having dreams at night once we develop continuity of consciousness. Because to develop continuity of consciousness means to become consciously multidimensional. We are multidimensional beings right now but we don’t realize it because we have not yet build the so-called Antakarana.

So, when we fall asleep at night, while the so-called life-thread stays in place making sure our heart keeps beating while we are asleep, the so-called consciousness thread is withdrawn and as a result we fall unconscious. When we are asleep, we are unconscious here in our brain awareness, yet meanwhile we are very active and conscious on other planes and dimensions. However, since we lack continuity of consciousness, we are not consciously aware of our multi-dimensionality, and all that we remember when we wake up from sleeping is loose fragments in the form of dreams.

Again, we will stop having dreams once we develop continuity of consciousness. To develop continuity of consciousness means to become consciously multidimensional. We are multidimensional beings right now but we don’t realize it because we have not yet build the so-called Antakarana. But just because we don’t realize something does not mean it is not there. For example, we are starting to become aware of the law of cause and effect. Yet it has always been there. The Spiritual path is just the path of becoming aware.
