So if you try to balance light with darkness – as almost everyone teaches in the world – it is the same as saying, 50% of the time I will acknowledge love and light and oneness, and the other 50% I will deny it. 50% of the time I will be happy and 50% of the time I will be unhappy. 50% of the time I will be totally loving and kind, and the other 50% I will attack and hurt everyone around me. 50% of the time I will be positive and optimistic, and the other 50% I will be negative and totally pessimistic. That’s insane! You don’t want to be depressed half of the time. You want to be happy 100% of the time! That should be our normal, not what’s going on in this world today.
The idea that you are supposed to integrate your “dark side” is the belief that you are supposed to be unhappy, depressed, jealous, angry and maybe even a little evil because it is a part of you. I mean, just listen to the people around you. You are feeling depressed and angry and attack someone in your loss of control, and people tell you, “Don’t worry, that’s normal. Everybody feels like that and acts like that.” Yet, if we look around in the world, we can see how far that has brought us.
Again: We are not here to balance light and darkness, oneness and separation, fear and love. And you see, here is the thing: you can try as hard as you want, it does not work. You cannot deny and own something at the same time. Separation is the denial of oneness. Darkness is the denial of light. Fear is the denial of love. These two are irreconcilable.
Remember, “Perfect love casts out fear.” 100% love, not 50% love casts out fear! Or in A Course in Miracles Jesus says, “Deny any thought not of God to enter your mind.” He said, deny ANY thought not of God to enter your mind – not once in a while deny a thought not of God to enter your mind. Any thought. 100%. Remember, he also said, “Get thee behind me Satan.” Satan is obviously just another word for fear, separation, darkness – the so-called shadow. He did not say, “Hey come on babe, integrate with me.” He said, “Get thee behind me, Satan.” Get thee behind me, fear. Get thee behind me, darkness.
And this is why our job is to deny any thought not of Source, not of love, not of oneness, not of light to enter our mind. So our job is to deny the “shadow,” not to integrate it. And we can simply deny it because it does not exist. So when you deny the shadow, you are not denying yourself, or a part of yourself. You are simply denying something that is not there: separation from Source and separation from one another. The so-called shadow does not really exist because separation is not real. Our collective belief in separation is one massive hallucination.
And this is also why being whole does not mean that you have to integrate both oneness and separation. Again, you can spend the rest of eternity trying to integrate and balance oneness and separation but it won’t work. Why? Because oneness and separation are irreconcilable. Separation is the denial of oneness. And that’s why Dr Stone called this philosophy the “False Holistic Theory” because it is a false theory. You want to integrate and balance everything – but the one thing you do not want to integrate is separation, darkness and fear.
