As I have said before, our current evolutionary goal is to become Soul-conscious, and in case you wonder why I keep saying it, I keep saying it to create context and to create awareness for the bigger picture of life.

All the challenges we have in life, all the problems we have in the world, all the opportunities we have in life are there to help us become Soul-conscious.
If we don’t understand the bigger picture, the world does not make any sense.

Now anyway, to become Soul-conscious means that we start realizing, in our brain awareness, that the conscious thinking I with which we are all identified is the Soul in incarnation, anchored in the brain. And once we start getting that, the awakening Soul in incarnation then starts to assume control over its vehicles. It starts making a conscious effort to master the mental body, emotional body, physical body, daily life, and on an on. So one of the goals of the Soul is become a Master.

As a human species, today, collectively speaking, we are not masters yet. We are victims mostly. We are only starting to learn to master our minds because we are only really starting to realize that we HAVE a mind – thinking is something we do mostly automatically rather than intentionally. Same with the emotional body. Hardly anybody in this world has real mastery over their emotions and lower self desires. Most people are victimized by their emotions and lower desires (which has to do with our current stage in evolution which is still mostly emotionally polarized in nature). Same with the physical service instrument. Mastering our body is something we still have to learn as a species, even though we are making great progress on this front. Working out, striving for top fitness, juicing, raw foods etc. are all becoming mainstream, or already are mainstream lifestyle really in parts of the world. And that’s no coincidence. These ideas for physical fitness and a light diet are impressed upon the collective minds of humanity by higher sources, and we then simply pick up or tune into these ideas and run with them. And as we learn to take care of our bodies, strive to get fit like an athlete, that’s part of physical self-mastery.

No anyway, so part of our collective goal is to grow into mastery, to become Masters.

And so here is my advice for you today: To become a master, do what masters do.

What do masters do? Or, what do aspiring masters do? They consciously work on their self-mastery every single day of their life. They don’t leave their Spiritual growth and self-mastery to chance. They turn every aspect of their day into a practice session. Stuck in traffic? Great! Practice patience. Had a talk with someone which got me emotionally agitated? Great! I will have a close look at that and get a handle on my emotions. Lacking energy, feeling exhausted? Great! The next three days I will go on a fast and get lots of fresh air! You get the point. They turn everything into a practice session to practice The Presence, practice unconditional love, practice forgiveness, practice Soul consciousness, etc. And, they put themselves through a conscious training to develop themselves on all fronts, but that’s too much to get into right now, for this quick blog.
