What is the Purpose of Spiritual Practices?

You may ask, well, Gloria, what kind of practices?

consciously practicing the Presence in my daily life,
consciously denying any thought not of love to enter my mind,
consciously doing affirmations affirming where I want to get – what kind of consciousness I want to develop,
consciously sitting down every day in meditation to identify with my Higher Self,
consciously saying some prayers as a way to reach out for help from the Divine,
fasting to purify the physical body,
dedicating your life to serving humanity – there is no way for anyone to grow Spiritually without helping others, and so forth.

Anyway, but here is the thing: You have to DO these practices. Just hoping to realize your Divinity and waiting around for someone to come and bestow it upon you or something won’t work.

If you want to expand your consciousness and step into the next higher version of yourself, if that makes sense, you have to earn it.

An expansion of consciousness and realization always means an expansion of power and energy and knowledge and so forth, and so that’s why we have to earn it so we don’t misuse our expanded consciousness.

Anyway, to make a long story short: As a human species, we have an evolutionary goal, namely: to step out of our humanity and into our divinity. And the fastest way to take that next step in our evolution is to do it consciously by doing so-called Spiritual practices that purify the physical body and emotional nature, by doing exercises to transcend the fear-based mind, and align subconscious, conscious and Superconscious mind, by doing exercises where we consciously practice our Divine Self.

By being strategic about our Spiritual growth.
